Default Argh technology!

I am considering buying a new comp, but have practically no idea what i really should buy.. even so i'm looking for gaming computer that hopefully lasts for a while (again).

i have around 700 to spend on it, more if its worth it, i googled and searched and wondered, but i dont want to risk big amount of money on something i'm not even sure of.. so i am asking ya'll help if u happen to know.

(processor: perhaps core 2 duo e8500, motherboard: ?Intel DG33FBC?, RAM, video card, sound card (not necessity), hard drive (got one already, should do the trick) and cooling system.)

thanks in advance.

Hey, Im new to forums but i thought i'd try help you out a lil.

I've been doing a cisco course (Computer building) in school, but just started. I shall help you as much as possible.

Basically, First i would have to say occasionally building your own pc is the cheapest method, but not always.

May need a little more info too, The GHz of Processor, the video card details, ram details etc.

I always order all parts from sites such as NewEgg, and build it myself. I've found that to be the biggest bang for the buck in every instance, provided you - or someone you know - know what you're doing.

man i should of wrote that, "How to build a Cheap Gaming machine for under $500" thread, but i never got around to it.

I got me a Phenom 9550, 4gb of gskill ram, msi mobo, msi 512mb hd3650 video card, 2 free video games, etcetcetc for $440.

Easiest thing to do, read through newegg, find things on sell. I bought my crap over a 3 month period, but yea, a good example my ram would normally cost you about 200 bucks, i paid 60 for the 4gb
