Calling it Yagyu would make sense if you're a Yagyu. If you're a Hosokawa (example), why would you use a name from a different family, you'd rather call it Hosokawa.

Last I checked it's set in the Sengoku Jidai. And even in the Edo Jidai not everyone learned from the Yagyu. Yagyu only worked as fighting instructors for the Tokugawa. If you were a Mori, you'd learn a different style. Or if you were from Satsuma you certainly wouldn't go to a Tokugawa controlled Ryu.

Sure, you could go to the Yagyu school, but if a family, such as this one, controls the dojo, why would they call it Yagyu. They would use their own name and, most likely, their own style.

Oh very well... I can't be creative since the only thing I know in japanese is .... some words, and I have no idea how to type nor write it... So I'll take a good look at my Sword of the Samurai(Kengo xx, I don't quite remember wich one...) and give some ideas,m if you're not already doing it (it's been some weeks since I last played it because of samurai warriors(sengoku musou) 1 and 2 (XL and Empires) also I'd pretty much like the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, hehe... But I'll try something in some days...
