If nobody minds, i want to put up this thread. It is a guide to making your signature picture.
I am not a forum moderator or anything, but i want to set up this guide, just until someone deletes it, or Sykoi and others Make an official guide for the forums. Note that this is only a guide, im not saying that you have to follow it as a rule.
1. The image should be about 400W pixels by 100H pixels or less
2. The image does not include nudity, violence, or anything over a PG rating
3. The image is about Tatsumaki or related to it, no advertisements, or racist subjects

I would much rather 400 pix by 120 pix or less. The extra 20 pixels is hardly noticed if the sig is done correctly. Mine is 400x100 but thats before i started o do them imn 400x120. To see my work check out my Sig request thread in The Katana forum.

This is being discussed and until Sykoii adds to the rules, let's just use our better judgement, shall we?

I dont get confused without guides... i look at the problem and fix it myself. Then when i do it wrong i pay someone else to do it :P

What do u guys use to create your sigs, and did u make it from scratch or do u use some sort of template to start off with??

I dont know about the others, but i use Photoshop 7(trying to get CS later), and i make my own from scratch, but i do look at other people's sigs, to get ideas, and mental templates.
I dont EVER copy a sig,(i just try to modify it as much as possible..hehehe) :D

Hello,
The signatures are done in HTML <I am pretty sure> if you want to center your image/text put it in tags. There are several different tags like that I guess you could right justify too, might be different not sure. I have seen some really good signatures here.

There is a nice little FREE program called GIMP that you can use. You can just google it and find it. Worked for me. I didn't make my sig someone else did. But I doo need to clean it up. Though Im thinking I might make a new one for this forum. As soon as I learn a few things..

for some of my work i use brushes, with permission and linked back, of course. But usually i will do everything by hand. I use adobe photoshop CS and Imageready CS. I can make realistic fire and ice backgrounds, thunder, rain, animated rain, frost, cartoonish, the i-pod style, basically just basic stuff ;)
if you would like something ask in my request topic in the et cetera board. i will try not to bite... hard...
