It really only shuffles its' feet, but it does in fact shoot little nerf guns from the side. Grun 07-25-2005, 08:21 AM Note also that it only goes 1,5 kph, so doing any kind of driving to school or anything would take ages. You'd be better of with a tank in a war anytime, too. You can't really get any kind of big weapon or cannon on that thing, it would fall over from the force, I think. Kinda cool, but slow and unprectical. In the video i saw a few months back it took quite some time for it to even turn around. I am sure that it will improve in the future, but i wouldnt look for a mech in military or private life in the recent future, way to ineffecent. Robotics is just coming to the point where they are begining to imitate walking(that then doesnt walk it glides) with tiny robots... They all look awesome, but i dont think we'll get any of them by the end of the century. Grun 07-29-2005, 06:31 PM But I doubt they can get much firepoer on that thing. I doubt it would do well in a war, no matter what. It's tall, and could easily be hit. It moves slow and can't get over obstacles. If it has much firepower, the backforce would knock it over, at least de-stabelise it. But, it was made for fun, not for war. |
