Setting: A dark night, in the middle of a snow field, surrounded by leafless trees. No sounds, only the moonlight shining from above, silence surrounds the area. Best to read while listening to the song i was listening to, let me see if i can link it here. This might take a while.
She and I.....
We are stranded in this storm, a field of white snow; glowing in the moonlight. The trees are dead, and the silence of night grows stronger. we are here, because of fate; the icy feeling of death draws near us, as I cuddle her and she lies within my arms. Cold, lifeless, and motionless; her body is freezing, and she cannot move. But i feel her warmth, her heart, her last breath as she tries to kiss me.
My last moments with her, our lifeless bodies become stone hard, as the air around us shreds away into nothingness. Her heart, and mine are one as our last beats joined together in a rhythm, a beat. I hold her closer, while her body says nothing her mind desires to be closer to me.
I can see it, the light that i have been waiting for. My eyes become weary, and my sights darkened. But, i can see it, a light, radiating from out of nowhere, i want to follow it, i want to feel it. But no, i cannot go, i still have her. She and I, we struggle our very last strengths to endure this coldness, attempting to stay awake.
The moment has come, she breathes, her heart beats once more and mine rises, i can smell her scent. My beauty, my love, she awakes; but, i am falling asleep. I wish it would not come to this, but no other choices are apparent.
I opened my eyes, and there she is, next to me, her eyes slightly opend, tears from within. She stares at me, while i stare at her, she knows what i must do, and she agrees.
I reached with one hand into my pocket, and pulled out a blade. She grabs me closer, and she holds my hands. I grasped her, and kissed her lips, her skin, as soft as silk, and as sweet as honey. She closes her eyes, and i closed mine, when i opened them, she was gone.
Her body layed here with me, but she was gone. tears came from my eyes, but it was not of remorse or regret. I sobbed because i am glad, glad that i could save her. She will not have to burden this last moment as long as i. With that thought, i closed my eyes, and from there, i reached for the light.
