I remember reading about a game called True Fantasy Live Online. It was suppose to come out on xbox but got cancelled (heard a rumor its gonna be on xbox 360). Anyway in the game your char was effected by what foods he ate and what activites he did. So if you were a black smith your upper body would be a lot more build up then if you were a farmer who whould have a slightly buffer then average build. And a weaver whouldnt have much of a build because they mainly use their hands. Also the food you ate would have effects on your body. If you eat more then normal (3 meals a day) then you would begin to get fatter. Also if you dont move, work or train a lot then you could build up a gut.

I think that Sims 2 has this already, more you excerise the slimmer you get and the more you eat the bigger you get. Good idea though.

I don't see why the sims having it would really change anything, if we're going for realism, then why the heck not have the ability to make your character an obese layabout that has to be ferried around in a taxi?
I personally think it would be great to make musculature and body type important in an RPG, possibly altering combat or work performance, and really letting RPers have a sense of pride in their character's appearance.

also a long the lines of food, fried foods, bad food. etc would effect you worse then healthy food (in a neg. sense).

My post was that if the Sims had it why not here, I like the idea and think that'd it make for good roleplay. :blindfold

Not a terrible idea, but usually terribly executed. I've seen a bunch of games like this and player models always end up looking like crap. This isn't to say that T:LAW's devs couldn't pull it off. I'm just saying I've never seen it done very well before. Characters often end up looking bloated and deformed suffering from clipping issues with limbs and armor.

This is a valid point, how the armor fits is another thing to take into consideration... I'll be happy if we get more than two body types big and average for customization truly. :scratchch
