Confederation of Sambian States.
The Confederation consist of 11 states. These states are bound together by the Confederation Console situated in Upper-Farnore. This console is in charge of Military and Foreign affairs and is financed by the states with membership dues. They are headed by dignitaries from the states and advised by internal agencies.
The confederation has lost much power since its foundation. During the Second Sambia-Falaria War the console controlled the vast forces of Sambia against Falaria, however its failure is evident with its inability to prevent the Sambian Civil War. After the war, Western Sambia has failed to contribute its full percentage of troops and money. Following Western Sambia others states have also decreased investments in the console.

Farnore
The capital of the Confederation. Farnore escaped the civil war for only because of this fact. The city-state is built above the ancient dwarven city which is still heavily used by the dwarven population. Its walls are the deepest as well as the tallest on the entire continent and considered the oldest remaining building in Istril. Farnore is also centered in the only mountain path directly connecting Western and Eastern Sambia, and through the city-state is the only way to safely gain access between the rival States..

State Entry & Papers – Controls passage between East and West Sambia, also provides papers for cross boarder travel between states.
Confederation Guard – Military Force of the Confederation.
West Port
One of the most wealthy states, West Port is the trading capital of Sambia. West Port is also considered to have some of the best ships in Istril. During the civil war the state was left untouched for the most part. The government is fair, with their main focused set on trade and gold.

Once the home of the direct port that shipped dwarven goods to Augoroth. Ugiusport has since fallen in status. Though still wealthy, shipping cities along the coast the inner lands were damaged heavily in the civil war. The government centers on rebuilding the southern boarders, and due to lack of agricultural development in the south, famine has struck in some towns. Ugiusport is also bulking up southern defenses in conjunction with the Norrgrid Provenance in case of Western Sambia invasion.

Norrgrid
During the civil war, Norrgrid was the only state west of Farnore to take an offensive stance against Western Sambia. The nation is neither wealthy or poor, but has great influence over it's sister nation Ugiusport. Toward the end of the war the two collaborated together preventing Western Sambia from completely overtaking Uniusport. Norrgrid's port cities were untouched due to its military successes. The government still looks toward its defensive forces for fear that Western Sambia will strike again.

Reigival is located in the southwestern most corner of the Fechor bogs. The state survived the civil war with no damage to it's territories. Its forces however were used extensively in the defense of Ovius and numerous offensive campaigns on Eastern Sambia. The royal family has blood strong ties to Western Sambia, and has always been a stanch ally of the state. Reigival's coastal farm lands are considered the best in northern Sombia although most of the nation is fairly untamed.

Ovius
Ovius was once a large state before the civil war, however siding with Western Sambia put Ovius on the front lines. During the war Ovius would see the most action. Eastern Sambia would conquer roughly 2/3rd of the state. Border clashes with the Fechorian Kingdom prevented the state from ever regaining its feet. Located in the southern most portion of the Bog, Ovius' marsh lands are the fastest moving causing problems with stable crop growth. The lack of military might after the war, has caused the state to become a feral place. Though Western Sambian troops try to keep the peace, there are far to few to control the entire state.

Aventin is one of four boarder states with the Queendom of Falaria. The state maintains a healthy economy of trade, craft, resources, and agriculture. During the civil war Aventin committed troops to Western Sambia. The Aventines annexed half of Hagina(the other half Annexed by Western Sambia) and were in involved in clashes with Tal' Ishla. Aventin is wildly blamed in elvish communities to be responsible for razing multiple elven villages not involved in the war.

Tal' Ishla
Tal' Ishla is a densely forested state between Aventin and Gurith. Home to elven refuges, many autonomous communities dot the forest landscape. During the civil war Tal' Ishla was not able to provide sufficient defenses due to power struggles amongst the elves. As a result Tal'Ishla lost half of it's state to Aventin. Many of the lands lost in the war were elvish. Causing chaos in the elven communities. To date, Tal' Ishla still has troubles with it's own mini elven civil war. The state it self maintains a healthy logging industry, as wood is needed in many states for reconstruction.

Gurith is the western most state in Sambia. It is known throughout the confederation for it's grand beaches along Clearbottom Lake. The majority of the nation is open untouched plain lands. Wheat makes up a large part of Gurith's economy, right next to wealthy tourism to its beaches. During the civil war Gurith commited very few troops to Eastern Sambia. The state wished to remain out of the war as much as possible so that its tourism industry would be safe.

Gulfstone
The Island of Gulfstone is located on the eastern wall of the Gulf of Stone. The waters surrounding are near impossible to navigate. Rocks rise above the sea level, and in some places the water is only ankle deep. The island it self host a small number of inhabitants. Most of the population either wish to get away from the mainland or are tied to the fishing of Cerrvi which is Gultstone's only main export. Gulfstone did not participate in the civil war. Western Sambian ships did at one point attempt to reach the island, however Gulfstone agile boats and sailors who know the area made quick work of the Western Sambian ships.

Western Sambia
Western Sambia lies on the western coast of Sambia. It host the original towns and cities of the Augoroth settlers, as well the home of the Kingdom of Sambia. Geographically and Economically Western Sambia has all types of terrains, and many different industries. Western Sambia was forged though power. The Sambian Civil War originated from Western Sambian militaristic expansion. Their military enjoyed many success, and over took almost half of the nation until they were offset by Eastern Sambian Alliance, later the state of Eastern Sambia.

Eastern Sambia is located on the eastern shores of Sambia. Founded by several states to combat the Western Sambia military threat, Eastern Sambia now is the second largest state in the confederation.
During the civil war Eastern Sambia was able to draw Western Sambia into a stalemate. There have been talks about breaking the state back into separate states. Eastern Sambia is a growing economic market and enjoys vast amounts of fertile and unused lands.

Fechorian
Once two states in Sambia, Fechorian is now their own kingdom. The Fechorian Kingdom broke from the confederation almost as soon as it was founded. Fechoria is based in the Fechor Bogs. They have fair relations with orcish tribes and other indigenous races in the bog. Agricultural land is sparse, however the land that is usable is very fertile.

Queendom of Falaria
The Queendom is the largest nation known to the world. It spans the continent of Augoroth, half of Istril, and controls vast colonies in the north continents. The Queendom has untold number of cities, natural resources, and people. The entire nation centers around the City of Yorsoth which is the oldest city known in the southern continents. The Queen, Fala is said to be as old as her Queendom. She has not been seen in public for many years. Since her disappearance the Queendom has slowly become weaker.

Durguard
Durguard is an Island in the southern Falarian Sea. Once a colony of the Queendom, Durguard successfully revolted. The Queendom has attempted to retake the colony on a number of occasions. Each attempt has been thwarted by Durguard's Naval Forces. Durguard maintains a healthy trade economy, and is a major stepping stone port for ships on their way to the Queendom.

Mithrandir
Mithrandir is an extremely wild and uncivilized island in Northern Istril. It is occupied by untold scores of wildlife and uncivilized tribes. There are a number of semi-civilized villages of minotaurs, kobolds, and other races on the island. But most are unkind to outsiders. Very few have traveled to these lands and comes back to a tale.
