Who is gonna rp?

I didn't see a thread about this, so I decided to post about it and see. Who all is planning on being a rper? Partial rper? Or just a regular player?

Role-playing is such a general term, in a sense as each of us enter this game we will all be playing a role. But I guess you mean in a sense of a historical role true to ancient japan.

Well I can not offer such a role since I do not know much of this time and place. However I can tell you this, I will be the bad guy, in whatever sense you put it. I hope this is satisfactory for what you are asking.

Rping is based on the player, so if they want ti RP its their decision. But Tatsumaki will have a special server for Extreme Rpers.

Well, it started out like that... we'll have to see how it ends up. I think once the game gets started, it will filter out/in people. It's great to sit here and talk about this game, but once we play it, and the bugs are worked out, it could be quite different than what we expect now.

This game seems made for Roleplaying. I never did it before so I might aswell start it with this game.

Actully, we could probably do something like WoW and incorporate both RP and 'Anything Goes' servers (well, almost anything). This way many people will have both what they want in a game, and a choice as to role-play or not.

A customer with an ability to choose his/her playing style is happy customer. :)

well, i will definately RP but, i dont make up any fancy fake character and try to be him. i'm best at being myself :P

this game has so many possibilities, but so far (and i've thought about this for a LONG time now) i will be a farmer/hunter and a sword smith (i will engrave all my swords with the japanese letter for "diaku" which means the maker) and once i join a clan i will become a samurai and be a bodyguard to the people who live in our city.

I definatly plan on roleplaying. One of the few joys from SWG I get these days is in a cantina walking around to people whispering offers of my illegal services (im a slicer, someone who can illigally modify weapons and armor) and of expensive and rare items i have for sale....then going back to a booth and RPing as if cops might be watching and talking in odd phrases to mask our deal.
I can't wait to RP a wandering sword/spearman/cook in this game

I'm still in the process of chosing whether to RP some or full time. I know I'm definitly going to RP. My character will be a person with only a partial personality of me though. Trust me, my other side is not what you want to know or interact with.

Seriously, I'm a hardcore roleplayer who's a bit of an elitist. I don't know MUCH about the time but I'm actually willing to study a bit just so I can understand the times better. And frankly, I LOVE doing the lunatic. (Think Joker from Batman) a psycho lunatic who doesn't want to rule the world.. but just see it become interesting. Boredom is out of the question... fun is everything... even at the cost of thousands of lives.
