Ashikaga - when you're on the screen to upload photos, it lists parameters for size limits, both in terms of pixels, and mb. Make sure that the photo you're uploading fits into that. If its from a digital camera, it may well need to be re-sized. Free image manipulation programs such as GIMP will do the job just fine.

Or, upload them somewhere like Flickr or Photobucket. There is an image tag, where you can insert the link and it'll display the image here.

You look like a guy with the matching interests. So i would suggest on saving up and get those kinda things, cloths, for instance have it made, make a samurai suit yourself, fake one tho, as i expect a real one to be far out of any of our wallets, idea for materials leather,ducktape,glue and strings :P
For the weapons getting the real deal would be expensive unless you can borrow it somehow from your "dojo" for instance meaning you ask the sensei about it.
(tell its to promote the dojo and the art form)
you do the art of the ninja so be ninjtastic :rolleyes:


Anyhow as you have wooden ones,practice tools, an idea could be to do a paint job on them to make them look like the real deal,make sure to cover them before with duck-tape or something as i am sure you don't want it to be permanent :P
my 2 cents, if i had the money, skills and time i would have done it already :D

im not a nerd im a geek. See theres a dif, nerds tend to be the mathimatical book worm types with the glasses and they r in band or in chess club.

Geeks can look like anything but are geeks cuz they usualy are into something that is well geeky, like samurai stuff, or comic books or toy collecting.

Though the whole label system is messed up anyway. its funny how ppl say i dont wanna be labeled but then they dress and act in a specific manner that they want to be identified with even if on a subliminal level. For me its Grunge. I am a true 90s boy, wear converse or black boot shoes, black t shirts usualy with a band insignia. Green cardigan sweaters, flannel shirts, ripped up jeans, beanies, wear my hair messy. So therefore id be labeled a grunge punk. Though i could easily be labeled a prep or a goth by changing a few things in my day to day style.

I've taken to wearing jeans, brown loafers, and button-down shirts with the sleeves folded up to make them short. Does that make me like...a prep, or something? I've never understood the label system, and it's been so long since High School, where the label system actually mattered, that I just don't remember anymore.

As for the second pic, it's the first stage of what will become a beauticious amaloli dress ^_^. Next I'll be taking the front of the bodice and adding a section in the middle with criss-crossing pink ribbon, then lining the whole section with lace. I'll probably add some puffy sleeves after that and do something with the skirt, I just didn't have any more materials and no money atm.

I got 10 whole entire dollars, so I went to the craft section in WallMart and found this ADORABLE spool of beaded ribbon to add to my dress. I want more opinions before I actually sew it on, though. Then I got this idea that I could - okay, are you ready? - wear the shirt UNDER the dress! It's genious! Here's some pics of the ribbon pinned to the dress. I also added more pink bows. What do you think?
