I saw a few forums had this si i thought why shouldn't we? It might also give us a preview of what some players do to handle all of their game icons o_O

anyway, here is mine. and about the games, i just reformatted my computer.

EDIT: sorry about the quality, i have high res and when i originally saved the screenshot the image was over 2 megs in size.
EDIT: Note; to take a screenshot of your desktop, press the 'print screen' button next to the 'f12' button. Then open up mspaint and paste it in. save it and upload it. I reccomend http://www.imageshack.us because they are free and you do not need to signup, only link back.*

*= You might need to save it as a .gif many people are complaining about their dektops being over 2 megs in file size o_O

nice bg, but i must say, i thought Alcohol 120% was "bad"

If it is, blur it out. Last time i heard anything about it it blocked out the copyright liscence on CD's and DVD's so you could copy them without getting caught or something rather.

If i am wrong, please correct me and i will happily delete this post as to cause no further commotion. :)

Well this is the desktop for my laptop even though I very rarely see it... usually also those applications running at the bottom are filling the screen. My other machine is a Linux machine but I haven't really done anything to the desktop since I never see it. The machine also doubles as my television / vcr.

I currently run at 1280x960, with an auto-hide taskbar, and no desktop icons (thanks to TweakXP). My current wallpaper is from Kirby: Canvas Curse, the Nintendo DS game that I picked up earlier today.

It's pretty obvious from my start menu that Tatsumaki is keeping me busy. Firefox is my default web browser. I have iTunes to keep me company when I'm bored, along with the Auto Assault beta, and City of Heroes. This, of course, doesn't include the huge list of games I've yet to complete on console.

Being one of the only writers on the team, at the moment, it's no surprise that I have MS Word 2003 on my taskbar, but I also use Photoshop CS2 for GUI and website layout design. Trillian 3.0 pro is my default IM program of choice, and it's how I keep in touch with friends, and other members of the dev team. I use SSH Secure Shell to transfer files between my computer and my private FTP.

My is a drawing based on the Discworld books. Well, it's ony the character, as the books are set in the middle ages or around there.
It's actually made into a mousemat, but unfortunaly I don't have that.

Here's mine; it's just a piece of artwork depicting a scene from my favorite set of books, the Song of Ice and Fire series.

It's not very fancy, because after several system restores over the years, i've decided not to bother jazzing it up anymore. I have my desktop icons hidden (clearly), and i have my taskbar on auto-hide. I keep my desktop and everything fairly barebones, keeping most of my files in well-defined catagories and folders on my external hard-drive, except for what's needed to be readily available.

Both Mugen and Saints rock Moses :D. I sometimes have my Samurai Champloo background up, SC is teh **** :p.
I now have a screenshot up that I made during eve-online beta, it was an animated background, normaly with menu's on top of it, but those didn't load so I took my chance.. The interlace shows a bit weird when you view a smaller image, but it looks just normal/great on normal size.
I have a few folders on my desk, I normaly don't show them as taskbars, but just wanted to show you what I kinda use...
Although you might notice the Limewire Icon, it isn't realy my real supply of music/games whatever, we have a shared campus network ;).

haha nice winamp katsuro. Alright, heres my current background and for some of you who have been here a while you may remember it (i refound it once my comp was wiped :(). But the theme has been updated. Now the sword ontop the start bar has a little shiny that glides down it once you open it. Its awesome!
