If I Pre-Order the very basic one, is it possible to up to a better pre-order at a later time? Like upgrade my pre-order to a higher one?

04-29-2005, 05:16 PM
Yes basicly if you start paying now with for example 20$ a month the amount you pay untill the game goes gold will count as your total. So let's say you paid 20$ for 6 months your total would be 120$ I hope this awnsers your questions.

Yes it is - it works exactly how Shinoku explained it :)

So I go to preoder screen and pre-order the 40$ one and how do I start paying towards a higher one, cause I want to do 200$ one but want to pay slowly up to it is that possible?

Yeah, just e-mail me ( and we'll work something out

What would the min. requirements be for the preorder(alpha/beta testing). And what different operating systems would it work on?

05-02-2005, 09:55 PM
1ghz, 256mb of ram, geforce2 or above, etc. - pretty basic specs.
If you have an ATI card, I have no idea - I love ATI but I, sadly, don't know much about them.

And right now it only works on Win32.

Thanks for the lightning fast reply and i am amzed the specs are so low for such an amzing game. :D

05-02-2005, 10:02 PM
Well we're trying to allow low-end systems to play the game (Since we're after gameplay) while allowing people with high end systems - to use that power they have :).

Yeah the ATi equivilant to the Geforce 2 would be something like a Radeon 7000 or maybe a 9200SE, at least i think. Sykoi, what sort a bandwidth will be needed to play the game at acceptable speed - 256kb +? Beebe out?

05-03-2005, 11:54 AM
Well the bandwidth part I'm unsure about - but if you can play Everquest, you should be able to play Tatsumaki.

I'm not saying our network systems are similar - they're a world apart; however, in EQ(#1 at least), every single monster in the zone is tracked by every single client - your client receives data on where every person is, where every monster is, etc. - so if you can handle that, you can handle Tatsumaki. (We lack monsters, but have a unique an indepth combat system; its close enough to a fair trade off, bandwidth wise)

If I may. About the ATI's. The only problem wich I think is holding the ATI-type video cards from being completely better then the GForce video cards is that they aren't good at Open-GL. I had an ATI back when I played Quake 3 and I always had lots of bugs when playing it. I don't know if Tatsumaki is going to use Open-GL though.. Also games that are suporting Nvidia (u can recognise them from the Nvidia logo and tune when you start up a game, like UT2004, etc.) have troubles running with a ATI card. So basicly they're running games better than GForce cards from the same speed unless the game is "anti-ATI or Pro-Nvidia" whatever you want to call it.

Hope this explains some of the things you didn't know Sykoi.

Say, oh...if some one was going to be going on a trip to Germany really soon (like next month), and they are going to not be able to pay for it until they come back; pretty much, how long will I be able to pre-order until?

05-18-2005, 08:11 PM
Probably until a few months before beta testing, which will be 6 months+ away.

05-19-2005, 09:22 AM
So when you pre-order, and play in beta, what happens when the game goes gold?

05-19-2005, 10:23 AM
You get a full account with however many months you bought, on it.

05-20-2005, 08:14 PM
And your charcater you had in beta will be saved or deleted?

05-20-2005, 09:04 PM
Hopefully we don't have to erase any characters, but theres no guarentee either way.

05-27-2005, 11:20 AM
hmm...sykoi may i e-mail you about the pre-order?

05-27-2005, 01:32 PM
I might be wrong, but I think Sykoi is outta action, maybe dislocated arm?? That info might not be correct, haven't seen him post for a few days. You can email from the pre-order ( screen though I think.
