View Full Version : Silk Road Beta Tenshin 01-26-2006, 04:36 PM It's back up. For those that don't know it's an MMORPG based in ancient china, arabia, and Greece, and involves mythology from each culture. It's a fun game, and I don't usually like point and click. Senshi 01-26-2006, 05:11 PM .... I hated that game. The graphics are good, but the lag is horrible. The GMs speak/write english so bad its sometimes hard to understand them. At one time when they updated the Xian server the thing got screwed up and they had to rollback so I went from lvl 22 to nothing. And even though they did 300% EXP the lag made it even slower to lvl up than before the update. Telsist 01-26-2006, 06:36 PM Hmm, I havn't had a problem with lag... Think I'm on the Troy server. ShininShado 01-26-2006, 10:25 PM Yeah, at first it's a lot of fun. Then, at like 15 it gets old fast. Tons of lag and kinda blase' blase' quests. Maybe I just don't like the fact that it's not immersive. Tenshin 01-27-2006, 03:13 PM Yeah, still remember that it's just beta. I wouldn't pay to play that game, but it's a good timekiller.
