I'm about to buy a new computer kit so since I'm not an expert I'd preciate some insight from you experts.

Would like to have some input on which monitor to buy. Are they more or less the same, or is there any differences except in price and size?

My monitor budget is around 2-3-400 € and i have been looking at 17'' and 19''

(Found a 19'' wide mirai for €300 - anyone know if it's any good?)

Resolution can play a factor in straining. x_X If it's too high obviously your eyes are going to strain a bit, you can always turn it down luckily.

A monitor is pretty much a monitor, but for safety's sake, google the brand + review and see if there are any serious problems with them.

If you're asking which is better, LCD vs CRT - I say CRT, but then again I use insanely high resolutions and don't like paying $6-700.

Are you thinking about buying a regular, flat screen, or flat panel at all? It would help to know, that sort of narrows the options a bit.
