Roleplay: Whaddya Say?

I've always felt this to be my favorite part of the forums. How I used to eagerly await the responces of the fellow rpers! It seems most people haven't really RPed in awhile, and some people are so new they haven't had the chance to show off their creative juices yet. I've noticed a bunch of the new folk have written up some character designs. I'n curious - is anyone up to doing some more roleplay? I'm sure we could come up with something real nice, with some of the eager new members and some of the old members who seem too bored to do much forum activity right now. I know forum activity seemed to boom while Revenge and Reward was up (by far the most epic story on these forums). I think it would be wonderful if we could start up something of such magnitude again.

I'd try my hand at it, but I must say, I'm not really much of an RPer, but I figure I best get used to it for when Tatsumaki goes into beta, as I'm sure it'll mostly be RPing.

Ha ha! Got three people so far, thats good. Keep in mind folks, no one cares if you're a "newb" at roleplaying or any crap like that. Gotta start some time, you know? I first started roleplaying in these very forums, same with my buds. Yeah, R&R did get a little crazy, but I feel it helped keep interest in the forums, so I view it in a positive light.

Now that it seems at least some people are interested, I guess we should probably start thinking of ideas for a new roleplay. I'd prefer something unrelated to the previous stories, both because I'd like to see some new characters and also to make it easier for the newcomers (not reading up on storyline history). You guys wanna start out with a common cause, or should new characters be introduced along the way? Also, I'd like to begin the story in a place besides a town for once, perhaps a battlefield (likely its aftermath) or a road, or even at sea, if we are creative enough to make it work. Any ideas/opinions on this?

I'll start new thread for roleplay environment. Any and everyone feel free to participate. The first chapter takes place in a market, I'll see how the story unfolds/shapes up and work from there to chapter 2. The adventure will be untitled for the time being, with the main purpose to have fun.

Thanks. I'll try my best. :D I was planning on contributing more since around September, but classes started hogging up a lot of my free time, for once. Strangely enough, it turned out latin was the easiest. Now that classes are finishing in two weeks or so, I'll have a lot more time to taint this wonderful forum.
