People, we shouldn't let offensive threads tear us apart! I for one forgive all and apologize for myself (if I offended anyone). In this spirit, I extend the olive branch of peace. We are too strong a community to be torn asunder by such petty comments. May we all find happiness once again!

Yes, I apologize to ashley it seems I did not realize that her motive was not to offend us but to motivate us to have useful discussions. So i deleted my posts and I am very sorry ashley and yes I hopw everyone on these forums can be friends weather or not they agree on everything or not.

as i see it, disagreement is the point of all and any disscussion.

as far as being offensive, we all are. as long as the person doesn't stalk you and piss you and piss you off regularly, just forgive and forget.

Erm, that was sort of the point of this discussion ComicP - forgive and forget, despite the offensiveness. I don't recall badmouthing disagreement at all, either (or even mentioning it for that matter).

I knew Ashley's intentions were to spark intelligent conversation. She didn't make that post thinking: "I'm gonna do this to piss everyone off!" But her masterminded plan to stir up the forums and bring attention to her point was uncanny. I'm not sorry, nor will I forget such an act, that's the kind of psychological thinking I respect. I do forgive though, I'd actually like to thank Ashley, that was fun. Even though it decieved me, I'm glad to have been a part of it.
