The brushes used in Kurakushin, Mayz and Tekashi's signatures are freeware and where made by Unknown Brushes (http://unknown.hakkai.net/index.php) All brushes used to make signatures are cpywighted to their original makers. I do not claim them to be my own.

Ill get in early before everybody posts requesting one, due to my substandard :rolleyes: photoshop skills i would greatly appriciate if you could make a sig for me. You can do what ever you want in terms of pictures or photoshop shapes in the background.

o_0 forgot all about this thread. Ok, mayz, yours is almost finished, and as for anyone else who would like a custom made graphic, i would just like to let you know i have learnt some new tecniques on photoshop.

These techniques include: Grunge effect, wind, ice effect, thunder, swirls and flower backgrounds.

NOTE: All tips (points) are accepted ;)

Sigs aren't that tough to make... it's making a good sig that's the challenge ;)

Anywho, I don't feel like fooling with Photoshop again, so once I come up with an idea for a nice sig, I'll probably be bugging one of you guys. :biggthump

yes, i agree. thats why i am studying various effects, mainly on weather and environmental effects so i can make some T:LaW themed sigs, that are all 99% original and 100% cool :cool: (how? i dont really know...)

That aside, the other ones (from Chobits) are from different sites wich host animé wallpapers and pictures. I guess putting them up for download pretty much means they're not copyrighted, right?

This reminds me, i got to go check on the copyrights of my sigs, dont want to go to Juvi either. Oh, and this kind of copyright thingy, i will only have to do it until i can set up my freakin scanner, i can play, make, fix computers, and draw, and write stories, but cant set up a scanner can you believe that? :wtf1:

yes, thats why i put 'made by kurakushin' on mu brushes. i never use a special brush without linking back, and never use artwork from artists blogs without asking for permission. i know what its like to have made something, put it up on the net and seconds later everyone is using it and claiming it as their own work. so its good to at least try and ask for permission then to not use a good peice of art at all.

Just for everyone's future copyright reference;

EVERYTHING that a person creates, makes, pictures or generally is the creator of, is automatically copyrighted. So by just taking a photo of your friend, and putting it on the web, makes it copyrighted by you as an individual.

This basically means that unless you're given permission to use a piece of art/photo or what not by the creator, you're breaking the copyright law by using it in your own work.

Most people think it's "O.K" to use a random photo from google, since it would be considered as not copyrighted, but that's not the case. A photo (or piece of art etc) doesn't need a line of text that says it's copyrighted for it to actually be copyrighted, so mind that.

Greven they bend the rules a bit if you use it for a school project its ok (im talking about google). But other than that ya you gotta have permission.

yes, i read somehwere that i some circumstances its ok to use an image for educational purposes. i think this only refferes to schools and other educational structures.

You can use anything copyrighted for educational purposes, otherwise we would never be able to write an assignment, as long as it is referenced properly its ok. Beebe out.
