I've installed quite a few mods (I'll list them below as I add them), and updated the family system to the latest version...
Family System changelog
NEW VERSION 1.4
-Bugfixes: a few, correct template set
-Changes: some light template tweaks, optimizations for all pages, proper vB Code Standards
-Additions: allowed usergroups, optional passwords, log into any dorm cp if admin, automatic template installation/update
And a few more which I didnt keep track of....

I have also changed the family system a bit, so family owners MUST make threads they wish everyone to be able to see / participate in, 'guestrooms' - this is so you can have private discussions for family-members only...

A header and footer to each forum (Will be put to use soon)
Enforced Signature rules (Not sure if this works)

Now that's a nice function. I simply love that thing.
And you said Enforced sigg rules? Does this work against multiple sigg images, and does it prevent too many lines?
And what is this tracker?

sykoi, i dont think its letting us put any urls/images tags in the sigs :(

Try now... The hack/mod that does this, is NOT documented at all, so I'm not sure if it worked :(

I've installed a Diary hack; everyone should try it out, and if everyone likes it more than the current Family system we'll switch (If not, we'll just continue to use it as a private forum for each user to use).

We were hoping no one else notices. I'm still working on the content for the RPG, so PLEASE do not play it. Actually, you're welcome to play it, but we're resetting everyone's characters once I'm done, so don't bother. :)
I hope somewhere in there you're also thanking me for doing all the content. :P

And also, question will everyone start at lvl 1? like.. is the RPG totally seperate from the forums, cause i played run ones on forums that used posts as EXP :P

Honestly, Sykoi and I are still working that out. We want even not so active members to have a chance at having a powerful character, so we might not link exp and posts/rep.
I'll only be able to give you an answer once I finish the content, and Sykoi and I beat the crap out of each other a bit. ;)

Linking it to rep/posts will give more incentive for people to participate in the forums... but will go against the "no grind" mentality Tatsumaki is aiming for.

That's exactly the dilemma we're facing right now. It also makes improving an uphill battle for new members. We don't want people spamming the forums for exp just so they can be a formidable opponent.

Then just delete the spam.. and just so you know, every one spams anyway, if you think you can stop in your wrong :P
Also most of our "active" members are people we know pretty well, so i dont think we will have to worry about spam till the game starts attracting power gamers and.. all those crazy peoples. :P

I see very little spamming on the forums. The bigger point, though, is keeping everyone on even ground. Even the quieter community members should be able to run around with powerful forum RPG characters.

That's good to hear, linking it to posts raises too many problems. Some people prefer to read and only post when they have something smart to say.

Uh, sorry. I've been working on ten different things at the same time, so the forum has kind of fallen by the wayside. I'm still working on it, but very slowly.
