I'l start off with:
Woo! New family!
And a question: What do you want to see in this family. With regards to what threads and so forth.

Awomse job Grun, I hope this venture proves to be fruitful to to.
And I got a spiffy new custom title too.
I thought about getting a custom title for some time, and points was no problem. But I couldn't think of anything. But I feel this one is a good investment.
So, anything you guys want to see in this family?

ya i just got a new title yesterday :D check it out
Congrats on the postition Grun. I've been waiting for you to put this up for some time. I have one suggested thread for this area though. You may want to put up what this family is all about for the newcomers. Though I may be mistaken and you've already put something like that up, in which case don't pay attention to my ranting. :D
Oh and moses....about the new title... :nutkick:

Well its good to see that this family worked out from its concept idea just fine.
Now lest start developing its ranks, and areas of work (logistics).
There, I added an information thread, and stickied it.
Is there anything you guys feel I should add to the information thread? Or any other thread you think are missing? Or any other feedback or suggestions?
Edit:
lang levende Kame
Har min invitasjon ekspirert? Eller gjør De enda har en å skille for meg
I hope thats correct. I cant speak Norwegian well
A good try at it, congrats on the efford. But it should be "Lenge leve kame", it's some techinical conjugation, I guess. The second sentance is entirely correct, though ekspirert is not much used. I'm not sure what word I would use, "gått ut på dato" culd be used(lit. gone out on the date, from foodwares with dato-stamp.)
And I'm not really sure what you're trying to say in the last sentance. You're literally saying "Or do you another got one to separate for me"

Oh well i never said i was any good at speaking norwegian. Just a quick note also that i have been working 70 hour weeks and havent really had any strength or time to pop onto the forums like i used to, i will be going back to Uni on the 21'st of Sep and will be building my new pc on the 24th. The specs will defo run TaT: LaW so it wont be long after until i pre-order. I'l try to pop on more often and will help in anyway i can.
Catch you folks later,
Kuro
70 hours a week? o_O, I'll never understand how you manage it. Good luck with university, when that starts, and hope your new pc will be a good one.
And I have a small enquiry to all of you. Since the small rps in other familys seem so popular, I wondered about making one here. So, are you interested, and what setting do you suggest if I make one?

Sounds like a good plan how about. Transporting of goods to another village through a forest? .....lol what a crap idea.

I think it would be good to iron out our characters, and to improve the activity inside our family. About the setting, I think it could be a trading caravan moving to a more remote location to sell our merchandise and to buy good quality good that are sold there and are extremely valuable in the larger areas. It colud anything else of course :P

Omega, the caravan idea is good. It will make it so you guys travel together, can hire mercs (:D) but i think (from a non crafter prospective) that you may want to have a village or town be your "base of operations". Just a thought though.

Yes, hire Mercs, or fall prey to them, lol
The Band of Ronin will be willing to help guard your caravans for a fee, be warned though if you refuse we need some source of income, such as caravans for instance....

With this suggestion, I suppose we could make a base scenario, the town, wich is our center of operations like moses suggested, were players work, drink, fighte, prepare for another voyage, whatever. If we succeded in working that out, we then could make more centered scenarios, like a trade caravan travel trough various, town, bargaining(sp?), getting ambushed, establishing contacts with other families, etc. Maybe, more advanced, appearing in other families rpgs topics, like an event.
i.e. It was a quiet day in "someone's" town, peasants had went to the fields, preparing the corp for the summer heat, and the harversting in the fall. One could see samurai patroling the strets where the market was set, full of merchants, artisans, entertainers and thiefs.
On the eastern road, a caravan approached. It was composed by ten to fifteen men, three carriages, wich were loaded of merchandise. The men, and the carriages beared the mon of the Kame family, wich were renowned by its trading and by the good crafthmanship most of his members possesed. On the front of the caravan, there was a man (someones character of the family) wich looked like to be the caravan leader, wich started to manage the construction of a temporary merchant stand.
If Grun likes it, I ask that he makes the rpg topic as soon as possible. :)

One is no match against five
Yea, about hiring mercenaries, I'm sure you guys will have crafters who have some fighting abilities. If you have too few people who can fight to none, or may need a few more people, the Togakure family will gladly help to protect and guard your precious merchandise.
Ronin

ok, if you choose the Tokagure, you better hope they get more members
well, we actually have 3 members as of now (We haven't gotten around accepting the other member heh), how about you? :P
BTW, they don't have to just hire us, they could hire more, heh. Well we wouldn't be doing it so much for the money, but more because we're sympathetic to their cause, I guess you could call it a good gesture if you will. So they wouldn't really be hiring us, but us aiding them, heh. We don't even know if they need help yet anyway! heh

so far i have 5 members lined up for recruitment
Well, like I said, (if they plan to even hire haha) they could hire more than just one guild. Although we probably wouldn't do it so much for the money, (my family is not really a "mercenaries for hire" sort of thing) so they wouldn't have to hire us, heh.

um, i don't think so, no
Ok, guys, stop with the off-topic stuff.
And, for everyone(in the family)'s enjoyment, we now have a rpg open. Here is a link if needed. (http://www.eoeforums.com/showthread.php?t=1238)
