Alright guys - here's the deal. I want to run a tight, well-oiled RP machine. That's what I intend this family to be. I am a roleplayer. Typically I'm referred to as a 'hardcore' RPer when it comes to games. I don't mind who is in the family now - but when the game goes live the family I intend to run will consist of only roleplayers who meet a certain level of quality, as to be judged by me. Now, here I'm posting an excellent guide I came across to better roleplay. Anyone can benefit from this. It's short, simple, and to the point. Not one of these elaborate guides about character background and thought process - just the basic rules here. I highly encourage everyone to take a look at this and learn something for the better of the family and the roleplaying community as a whole.

I'm not in this family, but I feel like giving a small feedback on the article Akuma linked to.

I agree with most of it, and it's very good written, but I disagree on one point. The power-play talk. It may be only me, but I feel controling the other characters is a big part of RPing. There is the added challange of understanding the other character and controlling it as the creator would have it.

And I don't see how conversations work with this system, do the players just write what their character says, then the other says what his charcter says and so on? I feel such posts get way too short.
